"The Last Unicorn"

As time flies by, we found ourselves once again an Enchantment month... This time, it was "The Last Unicorn" which tainted the Lady Garden in soft purple and black enchanted forest hues, and inspired our girls to with all it's magic and white fur and hornyness... *smirks*

The show's premiere was on Saturday, February 20th at 1PM SLT with our lovely Kismet as DJ/hostess of the night, and its Encore was hosted "as usual" with lovely tunes from Red and took place at our regular show time on Friday, February 26th, 2016, at 3PM SLT. (I didn't get a good close-up from Red this time, but you'll see her in the theater shots as that little cute unicorn on the swings :D)

As always, here's what you missed if you couldn' any of the shows..... I am still all dazed and bedazzled from the explosion of interpretations we've seen these nights :D For the pictures and blog re-cap, I picked the show order of Saturday's show because I focused more on the dancer shots that night. The following friday i took more audience and theater pictures so those are mixed in between too :)

I'll have a lot of audience and theater shots time around, so you can see the pretty scenery Aelva created for us this time. And speaking about which, she also opened the night on both show dates, so without further addoo, here's the white unicorn herself!

I was a little undecided regarding the light settings in these two shows, so forgive the color changes in some of them.. I guess we blame the magic lamp carrying parrot or tinkerbell that just flew by. ;)

For our next number, the unicorn shifted back to her 4 legged form and peacefully cleared the hills off all the green grass available, while trying not to scare Imrhien who returned after a long months' break to the stage with us and well... who needs to be bullied by unicorns on top of the nervousness.... ;)

And this wouldnt be Enchanted Lady Garden if there was not a hidden prince somewhere manifesting from the mists..   Just saying :D The Unicorn and raven watched it with slight suspicion, but none of them both seemed to be aiming for the grass nor worms and critters on the hill so they went back on about their business. This way beyond gorgeous, Immy, a very warm welcome back, lovely lady! The stage missed you and it looked like you didn't forget one thing!
The next set cant be described in words really....
so put on your headphones: it needs listening.

SexyS picked up the challenge given and oh-my-god did I laugh hard... Not only did she make a very fantastic stage... she also made sure we get the crazy remix version of the song to make it even more brain-frying xD

So needless to say, the moods were lightened and all eyes relieved once the curtains fell again. Thanks so much for doing this, S, you totally nailed it!! I'm a proud PFUDOR now :D

The next set of the night took us to a whole different place as Exhi and Eostri invited us to be part of the Midnight Carnival, Lady Garden Style. First part of the section was choreographed by Exhi, with two hoola dancing masked unicorn carnival artists.

What a gorgeous set, seriously! This transitioned into Eostri's set, where we were invited to join the unicorn and harpy in an enchanting midnight dance. Very cool concept, I loved the black and white ballerinas - you girls did so fantastic!! <3

Then there was Kismet... our multi-tasking super talent of awesome! ;) Not only did she dance, she also hosted/DJed Saturday's enchantment show and captivated us with lovely tunes of the movie as well as other magic that resided in her music collection.

Thanks again for the fantastic tunes and that lovely voice! Those can only be topped by how fantastic you handle all "unexpected surprises" before show and the performance itself ;) Actually... I'd like to throw that in here in general: Both shows were trolled by the SL gremlins and had the one or the other little unexpected "addition" - I can't even start to express HOW proud I am of all of you Minxettes, you handled all the hickups so exceptionally well, it's a dream come true to see! Let's stay on this level of professionalism for all future <3

Next in line was again a very special guest from Club IMAGE! If you have not seen their shows yet, you really have no further excuses not to go and watch.

Kyrieholy joined us this time for LGC's Saturday Enchantment show with her white unicorn act from "Black vs. White" - it's magic!

If you have a lot of time at hand, watch the full video cause it's amazing! I say "a lot", cause it's a 45min show and once you started, you won't stop. Tt's that mesmerizing. ;)

And there we come to the end of this little picture journey, with a short sequence of The Red Bull with her little unicorn menagerie.

A certain DJ claims that I were to corrupt anyting and make it dirty... I would love to complain and insist this is rumors and slander. But I think this was the wrong show performance to try pulling that stunt. So I'll take a rain check for next time when I'm dancing pink fluffy unicorns again without cages and leather straps... xD

I had some changing unicorns in the two shows as apparently two got loose... so while Aelva and Kismet stayed in their cages all week like good pets do, Rug and Duchess rebelled and broke loose so I had to get replacement unicorns and captured Diawa and Galilla instead. [And if they were worth the effort, they are still sitting in their cages looking pretty..... ;)]

By the way speaking of, special thanks to Di again as well for picking up all our guests with a unicorn welcome on Friday night <3

Thanks to our fantastic patrons, both returning and new alike, for making this event such a spectacular success, and bearing with us through those magic forest bugs that crept up in between. Both shows were amazing with, if i recall correctly, 60 and 71 people on sim at their peak. That's just WOW... we're so thrilled and excited to see so many people come out the woodworks to join our little cabaret!

Also we are looking forward to see you again for our 5th anniversary next month, or next quarter for a new Enchanted Lady Garden.

And then there was the after party... I had to rush offline for Friday's show, so here only one pic from Saturday's after party ;)

Next Enchanted Lady Garden: "The Last Unicorn"

It will be here quicker than you think so mark the calendar for one of the two shows (it will be an encore) to not miss out on the unique-orns our Minxettes have prepared for you.

I hear Mr. Fluffy wants to be part of the show too but this may be going overboard.......... ;)

Kicking off 2016

So Lady Garden Cabaret started 2016 this year with a very fine show of balanced mix between 2015 highlights and 2016 teasers.

We're so excited to spend another year with you all, it'll be our 5th anniversary in March and there's just not enough words in this language to express what an amazing journey it has been..... Okay well I'm trailing off into the future here, enough for now, you'll get more of the ravishing thank-you-posts once the actual celebration month is here :D

On to the visual candies of our January 29th show - I can tell by the anticipating audience that I overstayed my introduction welcome! ;)

We started this fine day with a proper New Year's Dinner. Lobster à la Carte well buttered up, with champagne and ice to lighten the mood. It was Love at 1st Sight!

This group opener was a repetition of our group set during last August's "The Little Mermaid" show. As the sim had been packed with many many desperate IMs that couldnt get on the sim anymore, we decided to give it a repeat again for your viewing pleasure ;)

Next up our lovely little Aelva. And once again she didn't disappoint! Not only did she fly through space to come and dance today, she also created her usual magic in the process to make sure nobody looks away as the scene evolved and evolved.

I am not sure how we survived without her in our midst... let's just make sure to keep her trapped :D

Likewise, this next galactic princess here should only be tied down - I think, infact, that's what Kismet did to Leia when taking over her spot to lead the rebells against the Empire.

Little did we know when we received an S.O.S. to the world with Sting's "Message in the bottle" - turns out that one came from real Leia, who turned up 2 days later gagged and tied in the cabaret backstage dressing closets......

Kismet managed to leave the stage without larger building desasters. Needless to say, SexyS made up for that and destroyed the theater thoroughly. Nothing a little fist-bump can't do where light sabers plainout failed..... :D

SexyS just never disappoints with her eclectic and oh-so-different song and set choices. I admire her! omg I am fan-girling again aint I.........  thanks for making us complete, S <3

Next up this dreamy and beyond gorgeous set reminding of Boticelli's "The Birth of Venus" - I think after seeing Exhi bring this old Master's piece to life, we'll have to rename her to Exhibition-ista Nirvana ;)

Those pretty framed decor pieces left and right are Aelva and Galilla, in case you didnt recognize by the blonde flowing manes yet... ;)

And, finally, the old Masters pass on to the new ones as "The Diva" Bellic takes 100% possession of the stage with Nine Inch Nails closing the night with some ass-kicking beats and well... that amazing, hypnotizing light show and perfectly synced group moves that we well... pretty much came to expect ;)

Thanks everybody for making this January a fantastic show opener for 2016 - let's look for ward to many many many more of this caliber ;)

XOXOX
