"Discovering Neverland"

Why hello, Ladies and Gentlemen, Fairies, Mermaid, and Pirates HAR HAR HAR.

Finally the days had come where Lady Garden Cabaret was hit once more with magic fairy dust and turned into Enchanted Lady Garden, taking you on a journey to Neverland to discover the world of Peter Pan for this round of Enchantment.

Just to address the giant elephant in the room: THIS SHOW WAS AMAZING. Like seriously, you missed out if you couldnt catch one of the two showings on Friday 27th or Saturday 28th.

The pictures I'll be uploading this post are from both days, although the majority will be of Saturdays show because I just had better light settings ;) For the sake of an order, I will also follow Saturday's lineup cause it had one set more.

So without further delay, let's count down the curtain. The clock is ticking; the crocodiles too!!

But first, let's start with glance into the audience while the theater was filling up before show. Thanks to everybody who came these two days, we truely appreciate your patronage and do hope to see you again for our next curtain

Opening number for both shows was Aelva's little Pan-meets-Pirate routine, to take us all on a journey to the world that was about to fill LGC's stage this night. And she did it so lovely, once more!

So the opener gets right to the point with this show-down of Petaelva and Captandra Hook - we tried to get the monkey to dance but he couldnt be bothered. No amount of bananas changed his mind, either. So let's leave all the praise and applause for the pupet-mistress herself, who pulled the strings to make things move: We are so honored to have you with us Aelva <3

This next set was only shown on saturday, since RL took it's toll for friday's show. I hope the pictures give you an idea if you missed seeing it in person.

I can't fangirl SexyS' creative genius enough... So here it comes once more, hear me gushing: MOST SEXY CROCODILE EVER. And aside, who gets the idea to dress up as the crocodile other than S, anyhow...

You seriously cracked me up with this today! The twerking crocodile* - it's a thing!!
*as first seen at Lady Garden Cabaret!

Now just a few steps further down of SexyS' lair, the mermaid grove is rumored to be found. So let's take a peek there now. Misse joined us again for this evening with one of her amazing sets - she blows my mind, every time again. This mermaid number was no exception to this!

If you have not seen Misse perform yet, you really must. There is much talent in how she weaves her stages and choreography and every little detail just turns into magic - it's a pleasure to watch every time again, no matter how often you may have seen it.

Thanks for being part of this little venture from time to time, Misse, we love having you!

After this little trip underwater, we shall move back up to the surface.

This following set was a repeat of one of my sets this spring... it contained fairies.. neverending time... fairydust... so it was just perfectly fitting for another performance within this Enchantment show!

Turns out the fairy world is pretty diverse, too, as we travel from the soothing waters further into the forest where fireflies carry over the sparks of love and apparently as well the fierce fairy sparks. Let's observe:

So Aelva brought us another fairy on stage..

This fairy species much more obvious on the fiery side than my previous water fairy.

That little thing really has it in her, you didnt want to get tricked by her and definitely dont want to be messing with this one... :D

It shouldnt be any surprise, those types of fairies dance to Shakira. Original spanish versions, of course!!

The audience was captivated... Peter and Wendy snuck off to the bushes... Mission accomplished!

Meanwhile, there's some action on the pirate front once more. I think Kismet is trying to impress a crocodile... some mating ritual of sorts, perhaps? Or did she just truely forget her own watch to get that close...

Here's a mix of pictures from both friday and saturday of Kismet's set. Friday was a solo (the pics above), and Saturday a duo.. One of those un-named salty sailors apparently was of higher age or simply overwhelmed by booze - so Captandra Hook hopped on the spot once more to support her fellow Pirette :)

At this point as well a huge "Thank You, Kismet!" for being our lovely hostess/dj/emcee of saturday's performance. (And I just love the tunes of this set so it truely never gets old, bring it, bring it!)

I am so thankful you're with us, crazy lady  <3

And finally, this night should come to an end. But if you thought you'd just go lay in bed, sleep, snorr, dream and get back up when the alarm rings, you'd be thoroughly mistaken.

Once you DO fall asleep, the fairies come through the window, so be preparred for laying there all unassumingly, then getting a sneezing fit from fairy dust and the force of that last sneeze torpedoing you off the ground cause well.. it was just that forceful.... and that's exactly what happened to our next poor little Minxette... Suddenly she finds herself floating in air off to a wild journey.

These are again pictures from both friday and saturday, since there was this tiny detail called "Rug" missing on Friday. ;) Here's my second, "main" set for this Enchantment show, for a last wrap-up of all the events that had happened this fine evening...

Little Ruggles here redeemed herself today with the spark of genius of "Let's make it white!!" cause yeah let's be honest, that fairy was way too tiny to be seen in its original black planned appearance - no amound of Cole's particles could fix that :D

But, we found the perfect solution for the tiny little dancer full of mischief and a clear "let's catch the boat!!" hunter instinct (maybe that's just daily morning routines taking over though......)

Seriously Minxettes, you rocked the stage these two days, it's been beyond amazing. Thanks again all for being part of the Enchantment project <3 Thanks to Duchess, our landlady and hostess of Enchantment event to let us join the fairytales each round.. And Sorchiee, of course!

There will be video or two coming soon, but regarless, you so missed out if you couldnt catch one of them. Will post the link when I have it :)

Three special thanks go out for this Enchanted Lady Garden. One to Aelva, for decorating the theater so amazingly this time! One to Red for a fantastic Neverland DJ set on Friday night! And last but not least to Kismet for being Kismet and multitasking Saturday's show DJing and dancing and still knowing what to say!

You three are incredible!

So let's close this off with our lovely DJ red and friday nights afterparty shots. As you can clearly tell, Cole was here, even if you dont see her :D.

Here's also the whole evening of pictures in one collection in a larger resolution on my flickr.

We hope to see you again in 3 months when it's time for yet another Enchanted Lady Garden. Or our next regular show ;)

Creepy Things

Behold the wonders that is the Halloween at Lady Garden Cabaret... Come inside, and never leave.. - ooops I ment.. never want to leave cause it's been so fantastic... right... that's exactly what I ment... *coughs coughs*

So it's been another year since last Halloween show.. who would have thought. :D and it's been fantastic, thanks to all the lovely Minxettes moving their bones tonight. Let's take a glance, shall we?

First curtain belonged to the devilish siamese twins as we like to call them hence forth... Gal and Rug. Or Rug and Gal. One never knows who's the main head here or if they pull into different directions all individually. However, they DO know how to make a cheer, that rocks the graves. So our LGC cheerleaders here soon found themselves in company.

Also, I just would like to mention that the tunes this night? WAY beyond cool. Red did a fantastic job, AGAIN, to dazzle us with her oh-so-well-picked intermission tunes to transit from one to the next performance. And now look at her - what a gorgeous appearance today!

Our second performer of the night was no other than Kismet, putting a spell on the audience and while it SEEMS harmless from the looks of things, those who know here also know that you cannot trust an innocent appearance.... *looks around* "All audience here with us still? Any sudden increase of toads in the room?"

This was just truely magical!

As was the next performance of Aelva, who took us to her little spider den.. But dont let yourself be fooled by the riches of decadent baroque decor.. this is no place to foolishly settle, it'll get you dissolved faster than you would think... ;)

Definitely time to check for missing neighbors now at your left and right side.. those cocoons likely werent empty..........

Looks like Red just about escaped getting woven in herself, unlike the poor guy 2m further towards stage... Now how good that the next performance of the night didnt target the audience, but had whole other plans.

It was my turn to move up into the spot light, and it was all about love potions and necromancy. Never pass on a chance to raise bones I say...

The lovely SexyS joined in as my anorexic counterpart for this set, and while from the looks of things not quite in the best state of health, there was still groove in those old bones... ;)

Halloween wouldnt be complete if there wasnt some madness involved. Which was brought in the next set, presented by the devil duo Rug and Gal once more. They took us to a trip to the Asylum. Or research lab? One does not quite know how they justify the ongoings. (However, they do need to take some lesson from Batman on hiding things - let me tell you, a large sheet does not do :D)

And last but not least, we have all girls of this evening combined in our closing number, which was nothing short of spectacular. This was a collaboration of Aelva, who created the choreography, and myself who added the stage and song. I may have had my hands in the costumes too, but that aside... ;) So the result was a charming sugar skull Can-Can-esque ensemble to the Archies "Sugar Sugar" in house remix - bling bling! :D

There's quite a few pictures of this so I'll just leave you for this post with those happy colors. Thank you to our fantastic audience this night, it's an honor to have you with us every month over again and we truely appreciate your patronage.

Looking forward to see you again next month when it's time for the Enchanted Lady Garden to open it's doors once more and take you Neverland to join the adventures of fairies, mermaids, pirates, and the lost boys...

XOXOX
